Waiting...
Waiting is daunting, strenuous, nerve-racking, and can cause severe anxiety. When you're waiting on a blessing to come, the waiting period could feel as though days are turning into weeks and weeks turning into months. The built-up anxiety and other emotions can take over your mind and start to me you feel as if the blessing you're waiting on is not going to come.
I feel like we're all human so let's keep it real; we all hate waiting. When we manifest, we want those blessings immediately. No questions asked. Am I right? I'm amusing you answered yes. And that's okay because, as I said WERE ALL HUMAN.
I'm a planner, so I can understand *inserts sweat emoji face* lol. I like to plan everything out to the point I like to know what I'll be doing in September if I could. Being a planner has its pros and cons. The pros are that you're organized, and the cons are that you can be TOO organized to the point you can overwhelm yourself by overthinking—so many negative thoughts about pieces of the puzzle not falling into place. Like when is it going to all come together? Where is the missing piece or pieces? And then don't let someone else you know have the same plans as you, and their plans are moving along faster than yours, and then you become EVEN MORE DISCOURAGED!
Just to the point, you're exhausted and overwhelmed with emotion.
Even though waiting for a blessing can be an emotional rollercoaster, you can find peace in waiting by knowing that whatever you put into the atmosphere it will come back to you.
Having confidence within yourself and what you speak into existence can eliminate that negative self-talk that causes the built-up anxiety. I'm still learning that whatever I'm praying for is already mine. There's no if, and, or buts about it, ITS ALREADY MINE. My faith shall not waiver. Again like I said before, we were human. Yes, we will have moments of defeat, but we need to snap back into the reality of knowing that it is already yours, whatever you speak life to that.
Bible verses on waiting + planning
Jeremiah 29: 11 - "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
2 Peter 3:8 - "But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord, a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day."
Psalm 27:14 - "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."
Affirmations for waiting
Today I choose patience.
I am filled with calm and stillness.
I trust that everything will happen in its own time.
