MANIFE$T MAY: Sassy And Siddity, LLC.

1. What is your name?

My name is Ajernee’ King

2. How old are you ?

I am 27 years old

3. Where are you from? Where is your business located?

I am from Jacksonville, FL but currently reside right outside of Orlando, FL. My business is online based.

4. What’s your business/brand?

I own Sassy And Siddity, LLC. A hair extension/wig brand.

5. What services do you offer?

Sassy And Siddity is a brand for women like myself who feel there is never enough time in the day. Between work, school, being a mother, maintaining relationships, running a business, & working a 9 to 5 we do it all. Hair is something we that we always want to be on point but who has time to do their hair every single day? If you are natural (like myself) this can be extremely time consuming. Sassy and Siddity takes hair off of your todo list. Currently we offer virgin & raw Indonesian hair extensions & glueless custom machine wefted wigs, satin bonnets. Soon I will adding a vegan friendly hair care products line & a few digital products. The hair products is still in testing mode, but my goal is to provide products for natural hair & extension/wig care. Our digital products will be catered to helping women entrepreneurs who are starting their own businesses.

Both are set to launch this year.

6. What does it feel like to have your own business?

It is a journey like no other. It is exhilarating, scary, satisfying, anxiety triggering, challenging, and rewarding. It is the the most beautiful experience that will transform you into someone you never knew you could be. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

7. What steps did you take to start your business?

I researched ALOT. I didn’t have someone to mentor me starting out so I had to learn everything on my own. I joined Facebook groups, I’ve purchased ebooks, watched YouTube. I used every free resource I knew of. I took about 5-6 months to research and test products before I officially launched. And the funny thing is, I still didn’t know everything I needed to know. Running a business involves continuous learning and you have to learn to be a forever student. Even the ones that are making millions still have mentors and that says a lot.

8. What advice do you have for someone in their twenties trying to start their business like yours or in general?

My advice would be to start with developing an entrepreneur mindset. The easiest way to start this is to begin writing down positive affirmations & read them out loud everyday. These will especially help when times get rough. Another piece of advice would be to separate your business & personal social media pages & be consistent. Show up everyday for your business like you would a 9 to 5 job that your livelihood depends on. Learn as much as you can about branding, marketing, & finding your target audience. Don’t try to sell to anyone who will buy. I could go on for days about advice but I will save the rest of the details for my ebook lol.

9. What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned during quarantine about yourself and your business?

I’ve learned that I can do anything I set my mind to. This time inside has allowed me to focus & buckle down on my business. I’ve learned how to make wigs on the sewing machine, decided on new products to implement, and I’m investing heavily into myself. Though I am still employed & just working from home, the virus has shown me that having multiple streams of income is essential. Coincidentally, the quarantine months have been my most profitable months since I’ve started. Quarantine has definitely awakened a fire inside of me that cannot be put out.

10. What are you manifesting for the month of May?

The month of May will bring a successful photoshoot, a celebration of 2 years of business & more customers!
