I was born in the beautiful St.Thomas Us virgin islands and my businesses are here as well.

What services do you offer?

One of my businesses are Posh Boutique a trendy little boutique that caters to women sizes small-3x. We have everything to get you right for any occasion.

6. What does it feel like to have your own business?

To have my own business is something amazing to me. Being able to say these are my businesses and stepping in and seeing the failures the growth the ups and downs. I live for those moments.

7. What steps did you take to start your business?

I noticed there was a huge shutdown of retail stores in our islands. So I took a leap of faith and said that I wanted to open a boutique and bring in pieces that not everyone has. I came up with the name posh because I wanted it to be a lifestyle not just a boutique where you grab your clothes and go. I wanted women who came in contact with me to be proud of who they were to think of themselves as worthy, great ,having high standards , to be simply posh.

8. What advice do you have for someone in their twenties trying to start their business like yours or in general?

The advice I would give is just get out there and do it no matter how scared you are. Put your toe in and test the water. No matter how much you study you don't truly learn till you are in the game. Trust me there will be failures but that's all part of the game. You take those failures and you use them as stepping stones for your next move. Also I cant stress this enough network with everyone you come into contact with. Have amazing customer service as well these are the people that is keeping your business doors open.

9. What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned during quarantine about yourself and your business?

Lord this quarantine has taught me so much. Some time we need to tune out the noise and the hype and just breathe and refocus. I have found so many new tools to use to add onto my business with the downtime I have. I also found ways to work smarter and not harder. If you are a true hustler you will come through anything good or bad like a boss because you are not going to stop until you are where you want to be. More so I have learned strangers will support you quicker than friends.
