3. Where are you from? Where is your business located?

I’m from West Palm Beach, FL born & raised. My business is based in FL but I also travel.

4. What’s your business/brand?

I am an audio engineer, producer, and an artist building my own record label called “NML Mafia Records”. The NML stands for NoMoe Losses.

5. What services do you offer?

My record label NML Mafia Records offers a wide range of services which include audio recording, mixing and mastering, song writing, beat production, assisting with distribution of music on all digital platforms (Apple,Spotify,YouTube, etc), music video treatment, company jingle/commercial and much more.

6. What does it feel like to have your own business?

It’s exciting to have something you can call your own that was created with your own vision and you can make or break it. Having that much power is motivation to win, hence the name NoMoe Losses.

7. What steps did you take to start your business?

I started out as an artist with just the love for music in 2017. After making a couple of mistakes and also me wanting to research the music business led me to go to school in 2018 at SAE Institute of Technology Miami for Audio Technology. I figured it would give me an advantage to know how to record and mix music on top of making beats. Being an artist was just the basics for me and I was thinking long term as always. Fast forward past graduation in 2019 and into 2020 the label has really become a reality and I’m proud of the progress we have made so far. 8. What advice do you have for someone in their twenties trying to start their business like yours or in general?

Wow, where do I start? First, be willing to learn as much as you can about your craft. Always take constructive criticism and learn to separate the good criticism that’s meant to help you grow versus the critics that just don’t have your best interest. No art is trash, everybody has different tastes and somebody will like it. Just be the best version of yourself you can be. Have your paperwork in order. Make money, save money, and invest money. Lastly, invest and bet on yourself every time and you can’t lose in the long run.

9. What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned during quarantine about yourself and your business?

I learned that you can not be closed minded when it comes to reaching your goals and keep multiple streams of income for a rainy day. This quarantine has helped me connect with myself spiritually and I have a clear vision of the goals I want to reach and the person I want to be while helping others and leaving my mark on the world.

10. What are you manifesting for the month of May?

I am manifesting a lot of good vibes for May. I am manifesting success, growth, money, and more connections for May. I also manifest life, health, and strength for myself and my loved ones in May.
