6. What does it feel like to have your own business?

Having your own business is truly indescribable.

Owning your own business allows you to turn your skills, interest and passions into income.

7. What steps did you take to start your business?

I took a one on one class with a master MUA, I came up with a business name, I was then gifted with my logo. I then registered my business and launched it a month after taking the class. I was super nervous but I did not want to keep prolonging it. The feedback I received on my official launch date was indescribable. I am extremely thankful for my friends and family who have been supportive through this entire process.

8. What advice do you have for someone in their twenties trying to start their business like yours or in general?

When starting a business, make sure you’re doing something you love and are passion about. It takes a lot of dedication, sacrifices and motivation to run a business. Consistency is key. Never stop learning, and always be open to constructive criticism. Don’t expect anyone to support your business because, you will be very disappointed when people you “expected” to support don’t. Always remain professional because you never know whose watching or listening .

9. What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned during quarantine about yourself and your business?

I can do anything I put my mind to. With all of this down time, I’ve been able to accomplish some of my goals, set new ones and perfect my craft.

10. What are you manifesting for the month of May?

I am manifesting more quality services, clients, and exposure.
