I’m 32 on May 17

3. Where are you from? Where is your business located?

I’m originally from NYC where my business was founded but I operate in Florida.

4. What’s your business/brand?

My business name is “Opulence by JAI” named after my eight year old daughter. It is an overall home fragrance line.

I hand pour small batches of scented coconut wax candles. My goal is to support mental wellness and self care. For right now I mostly make candles but in the future I will also have home/body spray products and more.

5. What services do you offer?

I offer wholesale, private labels and event services.

6. What does it feel like to have your own business?

It feels good to have something to look forward to in life while creating generation wealth for my daughter.

7. What steps did you take to start your business?

Everything is still quite new to me so, I’m still in the learning stages.

By the end of June I will be in business for a full year.

8. What advice do you have for someone in their twenties

trying to start their business like yours or in general?

Go for It!!! This is not a race!. It takes time so don’t watch what everyone is doing just do you.

9. What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned during quarantine about yourself and your business?

I learned that I’m really jack of all trades.

I will have lots of things to offer when It comes to home fragrance and items.

10. What are you manifesting for the month of May?

Pushing my spray product to world.
