Last week Tallahassee experienced some cold weather and I thought it was only right that I made myself some chili šš š. I havenāt had chili in a while. Itās something you donāt cook very often (depending on where you live or your preference). When I made my chili I didnāt follow a specific recipe. I went to Pinterest to get an idea of what I could use.
The ingredients I used were:
- 1/2 of lean ground turkey
- Pinto beans
- Lima beans ā
- Red kidney beans
- Corn š½
- Peas
- Tomato chunks š
- Green peppers
- Chopped garlic
- Vegetable broth
- Green onion
- Sour cream
- Shredded cheese š§
- Salt & Pepper š§
The first thing I did was cook the ground turkey until it was fully cooked. Please be sure to cook your meat all the way through just so that you can avoid getting food poisoning. Next, I started working on the vegetables. I brought my vegetable broth to a boil and then I started to add in all my vegetables. After adding the meat in I let everything cook for about 25-30 minutes. Once it was all finished I topped it with some sour cream and green onions to add some more flavor. Bon appƩtit! This recipe is really quick and easy. You only need 2 pots: one of them to cook the meat and the other one to cook everything else together. I hope you guys enjoyed reading this on my version of ground turkey chili. Stay tuned there will be more recipes posted. Make sure you have subscribe to the mailing list so that you don't miss out!
