Entrepreneur of the week: Kenajawa Lashawn

1. My name is Kenajawa Lashawn (this is my brand name).

2. I am 24 years old.

3. I am from Jacksonville, Florida. My business is housed here as well, but our clients is not limited to Jacksonville.

4. I own a hybrid publishing company and writing service based business.

5. We offer writing services to other businesses/entrepreneurs and authors. Some things that we offer includes: writing coaching, editing services, copywriting/editing, publishing services, just to name a few.

6. Most days it's scary, but it is also so rewarding to know that I have something that I can call my own. My goal is to have a legacy to leave to my future family. My desire is to make a lasting impact on the world by using my gift of writing. Having a business is a learning experience, but it also helps you to learn more about yourself, and makes you stretch yourself to limits you never imagined you could.

7. If I am honest, I was pushed into the entrepreneurship world. I thought that it would be later in life that I owned my own business. It took for someone else to see the gift in me and motivating me to start the process. So, I did a lot of research to know what I was commuting to. I sought advice from others that were business owners, and started surrounding myself around like minded people that could keep me motivated throughout the journey. So, my best advice would be to do your research, and prepare yourself mentally to sacrifice a lot!

8. My advice would be to go for it! No one is holding you back but yourself. The world may tell you that the market is oversaturated, or it may be too hard! Don't believe them, there is someone in the world that needs what you have and is waiting on you to birth it!
