1. What is your name ? Jazmine Montgomery 2. How old are you ? 25 3. Where are you from? Where is your business located? Orlando born & raised 4. What’s your business/brand? Shots By Jaz 5. What services do you offer? Photography & Videography 6. What does it feel like to have your own business? I have had a true love photography since as long as I can ber. I never thought I would have my own business, it’s truly been bittersweet. Some days it can be overwhelming , but it has open new doors for me & given me more purpose in this life. 7. What steps did you take to start your business? The first thing I did was buy my camera in November of 2018 . Then in December of 2018 & January 2019 I worked a couple of events at church. By March, I did my first family photoshoot & I had started my business Instagram page & printed business cards. Things began really slow , but by April I was busy almost every weekend & the same for the month of May. 8. What advice do you have for someone in their twenties trying to start their business like yours or in general? My biggest advice is to step out on faith! Be willing to put yourself out there. The worst thing that can happen , is if someone tells you no. It’s not easy , I’m still in the early stages of my business and no where close to where I want to be remembered. You have to be willing to put in the work. Stay consistent! Don’t give up , because the opportunity doesn’t come right way.
