Hello Survivors! Forgive me for the late post for Day 3, yesterday was really busy. So Day 3 was really HARD. I woke up HUNGRY. The night before I only had a spinach salad and a green smoothie (which contained Day 2 ingredients). When I woke up on Day 3 I made my smoothies (picture below) for the day and my lunch. My smoothies for Day 3 included a handful of Kale and Spinach, green apples, unsweetened almond milk, and blueberries. The nutrients in kale can help boost wellbeing and prevent a range of health problems. It contains fiber, antioxidants, calcium, and vitamin K, among others. I cheated a little bit towards the end of the day by eating a sandwich and coleslaw. The worst meal to cheat with. After that cheat meal, I felt so heavy and exhausted. All weak I've had energy from my smoothies and the food I've been eating. Today Day 4 I am doing much better than yesterday. Today's breakfast includes a protein shake from premier protein and a banana and a kind bar. I decided to switch up my breakfast because I was getting bored with just drinking a smoothie and I wanted to stay consistent today after yesterday. My lunch today was a bowl of chicken noodle soup and a spinach salad. For dinner tonight I will be having a smoothie and a salad. If I get hungry afterward I am going to drink a cup of green tea and maybe snack on some apples and peanut butter. Since Day 1 I've been drinking my detox water (picture below) that contains lemons and limes that I allow to sit overnight. Occasionally I will add ginger and blueberries to give it more flavor. If you decide to start the Green Smoothie Cleanse it is important for you to plan out your smoothies and meals for each day so that you can keep track of what you're eating and keep you accountable. Day 5-7 will be posted on Monday I have a busy weekend ahead and I won't be able to post every day. I hope you all have a great weekend!
