Wow, I am still in awe. Ive finally been baptized.

It has been years of going back and forth with myself and contemplating on when it was the right time for me to be baptized. In the bible it doesnt say there is a specific age or time to be baptized but one should be baptized at some point in their life. Being baptized is special moment between you and God. For one you are showing an act of faith and obedience.
Matthew 28:19-20
19. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Being baptized also is a public declaration. It is a public confession of your faith in, and commitment to, Jesus Christ. It is the next step after salvation through repentance and faith and is an important foundation for your relationship with God.
Mark 16:16 16. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned.
With that being said, If you have been following my blog Ive shared my testimony on how good God has been in my life and in my season. Not only did I get accepted into not one school...but THREE! Gods favor is so amazing. He turned my situation AROUND and I owe everything to Him.
Baptism was weighing on my heart heavly. I cant remember the exact day this happened but I came home and turned everything off and sat in quiet time. I was writting to God about everything. And then I started to write about being baptized. I knew at that moment it was time. I could finally say with FULL confience, yes God. I am ready. Before my special day I was preparing myself by reading bible verses/stories on baptism and did a self reflection. Its no better feeling to know that you are ready to take your relationship with God to the next level.
Since being baptized I feel restored and new. Ofcourse everything didnt automatically become perfect overnight (and its still not lol) but I do know that I have peace with everything I am going through because I know God will always keep me. He will never leave me or for sake me.
If you are reading this I encourage you to take your relationship with God to the next level weither it be baptism or whatever you choose to do because you dont want to miss out on what God has for you.
