Life of being a mother & an aspiring business owner Being 25 and being a mother is far from easy when you are still trying to figure yourself out ! It can either make you or break you. But for me once I gave birth to my son I knew right then I needed to better my life a work towards actually having a career. I worked up until my son was three and decided I wanted to start going to school full time for nursing which I am still currently doing. When making my decisions I knew I would have to sacrifice a lot , such as living on a strict budget and buying only what was needed. I spent a lot of time at home thinking and doing school work . One day I woke up out of my sleep and told myself that I was going to start customizing shoes , I wasn't exactly sure how it was going to play out but I knew I wanted to take a chance with it . For weeks I watched YouTube videos and read up on everything possible that I could so whenever I did start I would be doing it the correct way and using the best products . When I first started out I practiced on my old shoes and my son old shoes , it didn't turn out exactly like how I wanted it to when I first gave it a try but I knew I had potential and that I could be really good at doing it . I called my friend shamekia everyday on my progress and she always kept me in high spirits and supported me. I was kind of shy when putting my work out but I did it despite of how I felt because I knew that was the only way of progressing . Shockingly when I did post my work I received a lot of positive feedback. I then decided to make it out of a business which I am still in the works of it . I do work from home as of now and I promote my work via social-media . By 2018-2019 intend on having a website so it can be a lot easier for me and my SXLLM​customers. I don't know how I do it as far as managing school , customizing shoes , & being a full time mom . It's not easy but I manage . Once you set your mind and heart to doing something you should always go for it . It's been plenty of times where I wanted to give up and just walk away from everything and everyone but I pray and keep going.

Life is all about finding your talent and figuring yourself out and thankfully that's what I'm doing.
